I highly recommend Robin Stimmel’s estate sale services. I recently downsized and am a bit of a pack rat. Getting ready to put my house on the market I wanted to unload the house of much of the furniture and other items. I contracted with Robin’s company to do a Living Estate Sale. I was impressed that Robin brought in a man specifically to price my husband’s tools and equipment. Much research went into !he pricing done by Robin and others. When Robin noticed something unique that she thought would bring more money at auction, she made the arrangements for a truck to pick up and deliver the items to the Auction location. Robin used a special” stager” to display my items and I was amazed at how appealing it made the sale look. I was also impressed that she brought in all shelves, tables, clothes and hanging racks. During the prep time she told me that my only job was to identify what was to go in the sale. WHEW, I had the easy part. We used one room for items yet to be priced, and she brought in a man to move heavy furniture. The entire process was painless and easy for me. The day of the sale, Robin peppered the area around my neighborhood with professional looking signage. All main streets leading to my house had Estate Sale Signs. Also professional looking labels were on EACH item!! Items were grouped together w clear signs on the tables and shelves that were provided. Advertising had been done ahead of time through multiple sources and Robin sent emails to her long list of REGULARS. I was surprised when Robin recommended I NOT be at the sale. I fully expected to pitch in and help …. and be exhausted at the end of each day. Robin explained that it can be emotional and stressful watching our treasures get picked over. So, on the first sale day of the sale, I played, and visited with my sister over lunch. It was a totally relaxing day off … .for me, NOT ROBIN. Before, during and after the sale, she always had a smile, acted professionally and made me feel comfortable. The day of the sale, Robin hired extra people that were posted in different areas while She manned the checkout. The commission I was payed was the same even with all of the extra workers. Speaking about money, the commission check was delivered several days after the sale with a breakdown of what had been sold. At Robin’s suggestion, I had a man come to haul off the left overs, minutes after the sale ended. He had a moving truck and four men. Just as he promised, he took the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY!! I didn’t pay a penny, for what was a huge service to me. He and I agreed on a price and I was payed on the spot, and grateful to have a clean sweep. Robin made all the arrangements, which once again made the process painless! I can’t recommend Robin and her Estate Sale company enough. She is a woman of integrity!
