Open Position: Estate Services Coordinator
Job Description: Assisted Carefree Moves is seeking a few motivated and physically capable individuals to join our team as Estate Services Coordinators. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients' transition to their new homes is smooth and stress-free, while also contributing to the success of our estate sales.
About Us: Since 2007, ACM has helped our clients downsize, pack their belongings, unpack and completely resettle their new home. Although we are not movers and seldom lift things over 25 pounds, the work is very physical and demanding.
We also organize and run over 35+ Estate Sales each year. We have a highly regarded reputation for our professional boutique style sales, with a very loyal following of customers. We take great pride in our creative concepts in staging and promoting each Estate Sale. The positive feedback from shoppers and homeowners reiterates our efforts and commitment to a successful sale.
Our team members come from varied backgrounds and are attracted to both what we do and our flexible scheduling. Most of our team members have been with us for years. That is why a “good fit” is important.
The work for both of our areas of expertise is physical and involves a lot of responsibility. You would work with a team of creative and dedicated people who will humble you with their work ethic, professionalism and caring nature.
Job Responsibilities:
● Assist with organizing and packing belongings for clients who are downsizing, ensuring items are handled with care and packed securely.
● Help unpack and organize belongings in clients' new homes, following their preferences and instructions.
● Participate in setting up and organizing estate sales, including arranging items for display, pricing merchandise, and assisting customers during the sale.
● Ensure the safety and security of the space area before, during and after sale
● Work closely with the team to maintain a professional and efficient workflow, ensuring deadlines are met and clients and expectations are exceeded.
● Contribute to the overall success of the company by providing exceptional service and representing our brand positively to clients and customers.
Job Requirements:
● Availability to work 2-5 days a week between the hours of 10:00 and 3:00, Monday through Saturday. Depending on your personal schedule, you will normally work between 10-30 hours per week. Please note that you do have control over your own schedule and there are no guaranteed hours each week.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
● Ability to work on your feet for 6+ hours a day and perform tasks that require physical stamina and endurance.
● Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor and compassion for seniors who are in transition.
● Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours during estate sales. (i.e. 8:00am - 3:00pm)
● A valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
This is an Independent Contractor relationship with ACM. ACM is not responsible for employee benefits: i.e., withholding taxes for compensation, or vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, social security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, or unemployment benefits of any kind. A 1099 is submitted for federal/state tax purposes.
Please note: This position does require candidates to undergo a background check and provide proof of personal insurance.
